Legal Manager (Part-Time)

We’re looking for a Legal Manager to join us on our mission

As a Legal Manager at Teamleader, you will ensure our company’s compliance, manage contracts, and provide strategic legal guidance. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing corporate housekeeping and compliance with local and EU laws.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate all commercial contracts, including partnerships and service agreements.
  • Provide legal support for strategic projects, including pricing, product changes, and M&A activities.
  • Manage intellectual property registration, protection, and litigation.
  • Serve as our Data Protection Officer (DPO), ensuring GDPR compliance and managing data protection activities.
  • Respond to legal inquiries and manage policies like car policy, ICT policy, and whistleblowing policy.
  • Communicate updates to customers regarding substantial changes in terms of service.

Job requirements

You’d be a great fit for this role, if you:

  • Have an LLB or equivalent law degree, eligible to practice law in Belgium.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a legal role, experience within a SaaS or technology company is an advantage!
  • Have experience with GDPR-related matters (a DPO certificate is a plus).
  • Are dedicated, stress-resilient and highly organised. You have an eye for detail and don’t mind deadlines.
  • Love working in a challenging and flexible environment, having a variety of tasks and working in a team as well as independently.
  • Have excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Are professionally proficient in English and Dutch. Other languages are a nice extra!
