Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated full-time Junior Lawyer for the position of Legal Editor. In this role, you will be part of our in-house editorial team, responsible for monitoring all new legal sources and converting this information into current articles for our subscribers, including lawyers, notaries, and other legal professionals on our platform Stradalex. Additionally, you will be responsible for testing new services and other additions we wish to implement on our online platforms before offering them to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Keeping track of and analysing new legal sources in various areas, including civil law, judicial law, social law, environmental law, public law, immigration law, and administrative law.
  • Writing and editing clear and accessible articles for our subscribers.
  • Collaborating with a team of experienced lawyers and contributing to a collegial atmosphere.
  • Performing thorough analyses and synthesizing information to ensure high-quality content.
  • Ensuring accuracy and perfection in all editorial work.
  • Thoroughly testing new online services in advance for accuracy for our clients.
Requirements:
  • Completed law degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken, with a good knowledge of French.
  • Editorial or writing experience with a smooth writing style and an eye for detail.
  • Demonstrable affinity for legal analysis and synthesis.
  • Passion for editorial work and striving for high-quality results
