Senior Legal Counsel – Regulatory EMEIA

As a part of our EMEIA Regulatory Legal group, you’ll help provide legal support in relation to regulations in EMEIA. As a member of the Products & Regulatory Legal Group, you will work closely with Apple’s engineering, operations, government affairs and marketing teams, as well as with other team in Apple Legal. With passion, dedication, and a desire to take on challenges, you will play a crucial role as we provide the legal support needed for Apple to continue to build ground breaking technologies.

Key Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of major law-firm or in-house experience on EU and regulatory matters, such as competition law or digital markets/platform regulations.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with executive management, teammates, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong analytical skills and business sense with the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Ability to develop and facilitate collaboration by cultivating relationships and effectively counseling and communicating with legal and cross-functional partners.
  • Self-starter who is curious, loves technology, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience interpreting competition laws and European regulations is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead a high-volume of projects

You will join a team of attorneys in the Products & Regulatory Legal Group who support Apple’s engineering, business and government affairs teams on ensuring Apple aligns with regulations in EMEIA. Your work will focus on analyzing the applicability of regulations to various Apple services, handling and coordinating the internal workstreams within Apple Legal and interacting with European Commission and other regulators. The work requires outside-the-box thinking, versatility, and creative approaches to legal issues. You will collaborate with other legal groups, Apple government affairs and cross-functional business and engineering teams. You will also advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies.

Education & Experience

Relevant degree, excellent academic credentials, and member of bar or otherwise authorized to practice law in Europe.
