In addition, the Employment team works closely together with the Corporate and M&A department on the labor and employment law aspects of M&A transactions.

Your responsibilities

As a part of the Employment department of Strelia, you will assist clients in complex labor law issues. Strelia’s dynamic and experienced team offers integrated solutions for a wide range of day-to-day employment-related concerns, as well as for transactional and restructuring work.

You will work on a wide spectrum of challenging Employment and Labor Law cases providing legal service of the highest quality in relation to termination of individual employment contracts, Compensation & Benefits, corporate restructurings (including collective dismissals), plant closure, transfer of undertaking, employment-related litigation, Health & Safety, social audits, inspections and criminal investigations, social relations with trade unions, etc. Your practice area has both a national and international dimension providing you with the opportunity to work for a varied and prominent clientele.

Your profile

• Belgian Master’s degree in law;
• An LL.M. from an English or American university is a plus;
• Native Dutch, fluency in English;
• Genuine interest in starting career as an employment & benefits lawyer in a business law firm;
• Drive and talent to work in a professional environment where the group atmosphere is key.
